RLC's Mission Statement
Resurrection Lutheran Church is a Christian community passionate about social justice issues, such as poverty, immigration, and the environment. Responding to the command of the prophet Micah to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8) and to Jesus’ call to serve the “least of these” (Matthew 25:40), we embrace opportunities to combat social injustice in meaningful ways within our community and beyond.
Many of our members are entering a time when our careers and child raising are no longer our primary focus, yet we have concern for the world that is being left for future generations. Because of our faith and belief that we are God’s hands and feet in the world, we seek partnerships and opportunities to grow, learn, and worship together, as we strive to live socially and environmentally conscious lives.
We welcome all persons, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, physical or mental capacity, education,
sexual orientation, and socioeconomic or marital status to join us as we live out this mission.
